The Arbours at West Goshen

West Goshen Township – Westrum Development Company

Edward B. Walsh & Associates, Inc. (EBWA) worked with Westrum Development on a Retirement Community composed of 133 Townhomes, active recreational facilities including a 2,465 SF community center and an outdoor pool. The community is located on a 36.2 acre tract of land within West Goshen Township, Chester County, PA.

EBWA provided civil engineering and land surveying services including passive open space areas, storm water conveyance system, and associated storm water management facilities. By working with the client and Township, EBWA obtained all necessary state, county, and municipal regulatory approvals.

Harrison Hill Apartments

West Goshen Township – Baxter Properties

Edward B. Walsh & Associates, Inc (EBWA) was commissioned by Baxter Properties to provide boundary and topographic surveys and civil engineering design services related to development of a 8.7 acre tract of ground in West Goshen Township Chester County, PA for a 114 unit age-restricted apartment building and 228 parking spaces with walking trails and 65% green space.

EBWA provided design services including layout, site grading, stormwater management, erosion control, landscaping and lighting. EBWA also attended and presented testimony before the Planning Commission and Township Supervisors in support of required zoning amendments allowing for a residential use in a commercial zone. During the project construction, EBWA provided survey stakeout services and construction consulting services.

The Hill at Whitemarsh

Whitemarsh Township – Westrum Development Company

Edward B. Walsh & Associates, Inc. (EBWA) worked with Westrum Development on a Continuing Care Retirement Community located on a 95.3 acre tract of land within Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, PA

The community is composed of a 134,350 SF Congregate Care Facility with accommodations for 200 Independent Living Apartments and contains 123 attached and detached cottages. The site also includes associated infrastructure, including below-structure and surface parking facilities, and power generation plant.

EBWA provided civil engineering services including passive and active open space areas, storm water conveyance system and associated storm water management facilities. EBWA also obtained all necessary state, county, and municipal regulatory approvals.
