Route 100 Highway Improvement Project Underway

If you are one of the 40,000 motorists that pass through Route 100 in Exton each day, then you are already aware that construction is now underway to widen the 2.5 mile stretch of highway from Swedesford Road in West Whiteland Township to Route 113 in Uwchlan Township. EBWA provided design services related to the improvements, which will include widening the highway from two to three lanes in each direction, removing existing jug handles, adding turning lanes, improving the intersections and adding new stormwater management facilities. The $17 million project is scheduled to be completed around February 2016. We look forward to updating and watching the progress of this project.
